New Version available of the Kunena birthday module. It contains some bugfixes and the possibility to use it with Kunena 2.0. There are also some new features like sending an e-mail on birthday or display the avatar of the user.

I proudly announce the first official beta version of SW SetGroup. SW SetGroup helps to manage your registered user by scanning their e-mail address and push them to or remove them from special ACL groups. This is accomplished by regular expressions.

SW SetGroup is used for example in the student council of ETEC KIT. There, each student has an e-mail address ending in either stud.uni-karlsruhe.de or student.kit.edu. All e-mail addresses that match this pattern will automatically be added to the student group and get special permission on the site.

After all the work on this website I can announce the release of the 1.7.3 version. This version fixes known bugs and has some performance improvements in it. The languages are now included in the package and can be modified over transifex.net.

Have fun with the 1.7.3 and let's hope that the 1.8 don't take this long.

Akeeba Release System (ARS) Extension was released not long ago on akeebabackup.com. The Extension is made to manage releases of documents, software or some other stuff. The extension is new so a lot of additional scripts are missing. Now there are two less which are missing. I can announce the release of the xmap extension for ARS and the Joom!Fish content elements files for ARS. You can find them under the download area. There are also a search plugin and a plugin for JCE AdvLink function planed.
